I'm pretty sure Sarah will be the only one who can actually relate to any of this:
I just bought X-Files, Season 8, and i'm trudging through all the crap Chris Carter makes me watch to get the few good episodes he had left to tell so late in the series. After giving the show such a strong start, he sure decided to end it without a bang. I'm dealing with the glaring inconsistencies like the writers forgetting critical details from earlier seasons. Ex: Showing another shocking conversation between Mulder and Scully about how her abduction left her barren. Scully sure acted shocked despite the fact that Mulder told her the exact same thing 3 years ago. Other issues, only letting Vince Gilligan write one episode the entire 8th season. Vince Gilligan has been the shows most consistent writer (who stayed for more than just a season or two). Even when Carter does give us a good episode, he throws in ONE terrible actor who just annoys me the entire way through. Chris Carter is lucky he had (despite my last statement) such wonderful lead actors to carry the show through the last couple of seasons. They pulled together a few great episodes at least.
Sorry. The X-Files rant is over. Sorry no one has any clue what any of that means.
In other news, I have to move out of my house on Monday. Too bad my lease at the new apartment doesn't start until Tuesday. Too bad I forgot (again) to get some wonderful big boxes from Compass to help out with the move. Too bad I have to leave to go to work now.
"Shut up Mulder. I'm playing baseball."

I had the flu in early high school and was bed-ridden. I stopped by the library early on in the disease and discovered they had the first 5 seasons of x-files on dvd. I checked them all out and watched them.
My fav eps are JC from Outer Space, Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose, and Bad Blood. I don't know who wrote those.
you me and cj need to have a big moving party...we can go raid the back rooms of different stores and steal their boxes.
Miss you, Jeff. Talk to you later.
